Arcus FM receives City & Guilds Assured recognition status

Arcus FM has secured the City & Guilds Assured recognition status on 15 of its in-house training courses, making its colleagues among the most highly skilled within the FM industry.

Arcus prides itself on delivering a comprehensive learning and development programme for its colleagues. From managerial development to hands-on technical training and apprenticeships, the FM provider supports colleagues right across the business.

During the last 12 months, Arcus’ Learning and Development and Audit and Governance Teams have adapted the internal training processes, delivery and reporting of the training to meet the City & Guilds benchmark to achieve the City & Guilds Assured status. Arcus also holds one of the largest portfolios of ‘assured’ courses.

Arcus’ in-house Assured courses cover a variety of technical and developmental subjects, including refrigeration, mechanical and electrical and building maintenance disciplines as well as its comprehensive talent programmes, giving colleagues who complete them recognition from a global brand.

Michael Ridgett, Learning and Communications Director said: “I am extremely proud of all the work the team has put in to achieve the City & Guilds Assured status.

“The achievement of this status is recognition of both the quality of training that Arcus offers and the capabilities of our teams who design, support and deliver the training.

“City & Guilds Assured status continues to demonstrate Arcus’ investment in our people and reinforces that our colleagues are among the most highly skilled within our industry.”

City & Guilds and ILM, a leader in global skills development, offer City & Guilds Assured recognition which allows companies to have their own courses externally benchmarked and recognised, providing they adhere to a specific best practice framework, criteria and core components. In the future Arcus will be increasing the number of courses with City & Guilds, offering colleagues even more opportunities to develop their skills and knowledge and progress in their careers.
