Arcus FM has published its latest Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) Report, highlighting progress made during the 2025-26 financial year.
During the year, Arcus strengthened colleague voice through its Colleague Engagement Network. The business also launched two new Special Interest Groups: Voices for Arcus, which focuses on inclusion, and Arcus for Good, dedicated to social value.
The report highlights continued work to improve access to employment across Arcus’ four social value priority groups, supporting people who face barriers to work. In 2025-26, 179 people joined Arcus through social value partner routes or from disadvantaged backgrounds, a 25% increase from 143 the previous year. This included 84 participants recruited through social value partners and a further 95 people employed outside partner routes.
Ensuring strong gender representation and progression remains a key focus for Arcus and the FM industry as a whole, and Arcus are proud to have welcomed 66 additional female colleagues during the year, with 14 women moving into senior roles.
Other developments included progress on menopause support, updates to employment policies and improvements to inclusive PPE and uniform.
Priorities for 2026-27 include improving EDI disclosure rates (2025-26 shows an increase to 47% with a minimum target for the coming year of 50%) and refreshing the Arcus EDI strategy for the next five-year period.

Debbie Gregory, Chief People Officer at Arcus FM, said:
“This year’s report shows where we have made progress and where we need to go further. Stronger governance is helping us maintain focus, while colleague voice is giving us a clearer view of real experiences across Arcus.
“We are also improving how we use data, so decisions are based on better insight rather than assumption. Disclosure rates and representation in technical roles remain key priorities, and this report helps us stay accountable for achieving continued progress .”

Lisa Jardim, Head of Social Value at Arcus FM, added:
“Inclusion and social value are closely connected because both are about access to opportunity. During 2025-26, we worked with our partners to support people from disadvantaged backgrounds into employment, while giving our colleagues more ways to shape inclusion activity across Arcus.
“That progress can be seen in stronger colleague networks and in the routes we are building into work and progression. Our priority now is to build on that foundation, so inclusion is reflected in the opportunities people can access across the business.”
Arcus remains focused on strengthening inclusion across the business and creating clear opportunities for colleagues to develop.
