Simi Gandhi-Whitaker joins the growing FM business to drive Arcus’ market presence
Arcus Facilities Management have appointed Simi Gandhi-Whitaker to the role of Managing Director for Account Management.
The business has always had a strong customer-centric focus and is proud of its industry-leading customer retention rates. This appointment is a statement of intent from the business and where it wants to go in the marketplace. With an active portfolio of over 50 FM customers, and aspirations to continue on its growth trajectory, ensuring that customers have an exceptional experience and stay with Arcus for the long-term is a strategic imperative for the business, and the investment to appoint Simi and invest in her function further is a key part of that.
Simi joins Arcus with a wealth of account management experience gained from a long career in FM. She has held leadership roles at Carillion, Galliford Try, EMCOR UK and most recently at Mitie. Across all of these roles she has built high performing teams with a focus on ensuring the customer has exceptional experiences.
She is passionate about developing and embedding cultures of compliance, safety and sustainability. She has recent experience driving digital adoption and modern FM methodologies to drive continuous improvement, service delivery, and lasting value for her customers.
She has been a highly visible member of the wider FM community over a number of years, often lending her voice to panels and boards across the sector; most notably as the previous Chair of ‘Women in FM’ for the IWFM, and a top 10 finalist in the Women in the City Awards.

On her appointment, Theresa Bell, Chief Commercial Officer for Arcus FM, said:
“It is a sign of our growth and place in the market that we can attract someone of Simi’s calibre to the business, and I’m confident that her appointment will underpin our future success.
“Simi’s value to our business is not only in leading our teams to develop and nurture fantastic customer relationships; but her recent experience in driving digital adoption and modern FM methodologies to drive continuous improvement, service delivery, and lasting value for her customers is something that everyone at Arcus is focused on. Her leadership, insights and passion for this area will be invaluable.”

On joining Arcus, Simi Gandhi-Whitaker, MD of Account Management, said:
“Arcus has been doing the hard work quietly for a long time. It’s built strong customer relationships, invested in technology and developed real capability – all with a very clear sense of who it is. It’s professional, customer‑centric and values long‑term partnerships, but it’s also now at a point where it can be more confident and visible in the market. That balance really stood out.
“I’m excited about helping Arcus tell its story more boldly and supporting customers in bigger conversations – around workplace strategy, productivity, sustainability and how their environments really work for them. There’s so much success here that’s been underplayed, and I’m looking forward to helping the business step forward with confidence and show just how strong it really is.”
