Arcus raises nearly £6,000 for Macmillan Cancer Support this Christmas

Award-winning facilities management company, Arcus FM, has raised an impressive £5,774 for Macmillan Cancer Support through its annual Christmas raffle. Colleagues across the UK-based organisation dug deep to support a great cause and have some fun in the process.

The raffle, which is it its third year, has previously raised funds for mental health charity, Mind and children’s’ charity, NSPCC. This year was the organisations first Christmas supporting Macmillan and it raised a record amount.

There were 65 prizes on offer including a designer handbag, 55-inch LG 4k TV, a Dyson supersonic hair dryer gift set, an Apple iPad, a Shark cordless vacuum cleaner, a Fitbit Inspire and a Amazon Fire Stick, all kindly donated by CEO, Chris Green, COO, Steve Willis and Arcus’ suppliers.

Chris Green, CEO, explained: “We’re very committed to our CSR programme at Arcus and the Christmas raffle is something our colleagues look forward to each year. A lot of hard work goes into sourcing fantastic prizes and it’s great to see so many donating to such a worthy cause.”

Sarah Diston, Regional Fundraising Manager for Macmillan Cancer Support: “Macmillan is delighted to hear that Arcus FM has raised £5,774 and we’re so grateful for all of their donations which really do go a long way to supporting people living with cancer to live their best lives.”
