Arcus brought its senior leadership team together at Unity Place, for its 2026 Leadership Conference. As the home of Santander – one of Arcus’ biggest IFM customers – it was a fitting backdrop to set out a refreshed strategy for the year ahead and the next phase of development.
The conference focused on capitalising on the business’ momentum. Arcus has been on a strong growth trajectory over the past five years, has industry-leading customer retention rates, and has a delivery model that is unique in the sector.
To ensure these strengths remain embedded for the long term, the business has placed significant investment in leadership, technology, operational delivery and customer experience through a series of initiatives.
The conference centred on ensuring the effort, investment, and aims of these initiatives added to Arcus’ momentum and drove it on to the next level – to be one of the UK’s largest facilities management providers.
With that came a refreshed strategy, reflecting a confident business with clear direction. Arcus is strengthening its position in existing markets while expanding into areas such as data centres and corporate real estate, supported by the structure, skills and experience needed to deliver consistently.
A refreshed leadership team is central to that direction. Mike Bentman has joined Arcus as Chief Operating Officer, leading operational delivery across the business with a focus on efficiency, productivity, change management and transformation. His remit brings together the areas that sit behind customer delivery, including self-delivery, mobile engineering, resident engineers, the helpdesk, 24/7 operations, projects and soft services.
Robert Lynch has been promoted to Managing Director of Sales, bringing clear focus to how Arcus positions itself in the market and enters new sectors. Robert has refreshed the commercial strategy and brought bids, commercial and pricing together as one unit, creating a closer connection between opportunity, solution and commercial approach.
Simi Gandhi-Whitaker has joined Arcus as Managing Director of Account Management, strengthening the focus on customer relationships and long-term partnership. Her role will support existing customers as their estates, spaces and workplace strategies continue to evolve, making sure Arcus grows with them and remains closely aligned to what they need.
All of this is underpinned by a focus on delivering best-in-class technology. Arcus has long been an award-winning provider in this space, with tools deployed across customers providing estate visibility, remote control and predicative maintenance; but are going further.
The leadership team heard how a proprietary in-house developed CAFM is now live with customers, and how this is being further developed into a full Integrated Facilities Management System – delivery benefits for customers, colleagues and suppliers; and utilising artificial intelligence at every step of the value chain.
As Arcus grows, it remains steadfast in keeping its culture and heartbeat alive. The business is growing, but the values remain the foundation for how colleagues work with each other and with customers.
Do it simply.
Do it well.
Do it with passion.
The conference unites leaders behind the refreshed and refocused strategy to and deliver in a way that protects what makes Arcus great: expert delivery by people who care, supported by the leadership, technology and operational capability needed to support customers across the UK.
