Arcus FM is named one of Britain’s leading mid-market private companies

Yesterday, (27 September) the Sunday Times PwC Top Track 250 league table was revealed, ranking Arcus FM as one of Britain’s leading mid-market private companies with the biggest sales – before the pandemic struck.

With sales of £156.5m and operating profit reaching £8.3m for the 2020 financial year, the national, tech-led facilities management company ranked at 153rd place. Other companies also in the ranking included Paragon, David Lloyd Leisure and Warburtons.

Chris Green, CEO of Arcus said: “We’re delighted to have been featured in this year’s Sunday Times PwC Top Track 250 league table. 2020 has been an incredibly challenging time for businesses, yet the dedication and passion shown by our teams has continued to shine through.

“I’m proud of the way in particular our frontline teams have gone above and beyond to support our clients, their customers and wider communities.

“To be recognised for our success and to be named as one of Britain’s leading companies is a great achievement.”

Arif Ahmad, a Private Business Partner at PwC UK, the title sponsor of the league table, commented: “There’s no doubt that 2020 has posed unprecedented challenges. But time and again, we’ve seen business leaders rising to that challenge, adapting their plans and taking the opportunity to innovate. This year, it’s more important than ever to recognise and congratulate the companies featured in the Top Track 250. They are the backbone of the UK economy and it’s our pleasure to work with them, at every stage of their journeys.”

The Top Track 250 is sponsored by PwC and Lloyds Bank, and compiled by Fast Track, the Oxford-based research and networking events firm.
