Arcus FM is proud to be sponsoring World Refrigeration Day 2021

Facilities management provider and refrigeration experts, Arcus FM, announces its sponsorship of this year’s World Refrigeration Day, (26 June). The international event aims to raise the profile of the refrigeration, air conditioning and heat pump sector whilst focusing attention on the significant role that the industry and its technology play in modern life and society.

Technology and training feature as core pillars of Arcus. Its committed investment in the development of its people and its in-house technologies allows for a sustainable best in class service for its clients.

Arcus FM has over 300 F-Gas registered refrigeration engineers in the field supported by the most advanced remote monitoring platforms, in-house Refrigeration Bureau services and Helpdesk. With its industry-leading training academy, the business is committed to continuing to upskill its teams, firmly supporting this year’s theme of ‘cooling champions: cool careers for a better world’.

Mark Woods, Chief Operating Officer of Arcus FM and President of the British Refrigeration Association (BRA), said: “Arcus FM is proud to be a sponsor of World Refrigeration Day, to celebrate being a part of our industry success and raising the profile of the worldwide importance of refrigeration, air conditioning and heat pumps. World Refrigeration Day is our opportunity to promote our industry for many generations to come.

“I’m extremely passionate about refrigeration having come from a family of three generations of refrigeration engineers and it’s fantastic to be part of a business that is so dedicated to improving refrigeration and providing a winning service.”

Sustainability is high on the UK-based FM company’s agenda, achieving a 40 percent reduction in its F-Gas usage, over the last three years.

Chris Green, CEO of Arcus, said: “Refrigeration is huge for us at Arcus and we’re constantly working on smarter ways of working to provide the best service we can for our clients as well as driving a more sustainable future.

“Our reduction in our F-Gas usage is something I am incredibly proud of, not only does F-Gas have an enormous impact on the environment but it’s also costly to clients. With smarter working and technology, we’ve been able to reduce the need for F-Gas, consequently saving money for our clients whilst ensuring their assets are running safely and efficiently.

“With our expertise and continuous innovations, I’m excited to see the future of refrigeration within Arcus FM.”
