Arcus is awarded four brand-new contracts with Sainsbury’s

Award-winning facilities management company, Arcus, has been awarded four brand-new contracts with its largest client, Sainsbury’s.

Arcus will deliver PPM and reactive services on shutters and gates for all Sainsbury’s stores across the UK, with the exception of Northern Ireland. This contract demonstrates how the leading FM organisation is able to make great cost-savings for Sainsbury’s, by providing an integrated service. This announcement will bring an additional 7,000 assets to Arcus’ portfolio.

The second contract that has been awarded, is for the service of checkouts and cash conveyance. This will see Arcus look after the belted checkouts across Sainsbury’s supermarket and convenience estate and cash conveyance systems across the national estate.

The third contract secured, is the partnership with Classic Lifts, to provide maintenance and reactive services on all lifts and scissor lifts within Manchester and the surrounding areas. This is something brand-new for Arcus and will see its in-store colleagues work in synergy with Classic Lifts to reduce work order volumes and increase uptime of assets by daily monitoring.

The fourth announcement will see the business, in conjunction with Sainsbury’s team, manage and deliver services to a 55-site estate where Sainsbury’s is the landlord to various tenants.

Mark Taylor, Operations Director said: “These contracts bring exciting opportunities for our organisation and further cements our relationship with Sainsbury’s.

“The contracts have been awarded on the merit of the current winning service we provide and our drive for continuous improvement.”

These awards are a fantastic achievement for Arcus, made possible by the hard work, drive and dedication of its teams. These wins build on Arcus’ existing facilities management contract it has with Sainsbury’s, which is in place until 2026.
